An early 20thC mahogany piece in very good condition, in the French taste and with a touch of the Art Nouveau about it, with generously-proportioned and figured top and moulded edges to front & sides, over a plain frieze with moulded lower trim and incorporating two in-line drawers with inset panelled fronts and highly decorative brass drop-handles & plates, on slender & sinuous cabriole legs on brass casters, the legs sporting scrolled brackets to front & sides and inset carved shields to their tops, further bell-like embellishment and scroll-moulded edge trim, this elegantly stylish side or writing table will delight in any tastefully-appointed home, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in inspiration and is sure to attract the admiring attention of your guests.

This is a period piece from early in the 20thC, so you may expect the mature character & patina that only develops over time, plus some minor wear & tear, including discrete repairs and some marks in the top but, in all other respects, it's in very good, clean & sound condition and ready to use in your home.
