Early 19thC Mahogany Side or Writing Table with Single Drawer & Under-Tier

A good mahogany piece from around 1812-37 in very good, restored condition with lovely colour, having a figured & characterful top with bow-front, on plain frieze, incorporating a single, full-width drawer with cock-beaded edges and substantial circular & dome-headed brass pull-handles, cast with a lion's face motif, on plain, square supports with a cut-out under-tier on side & rear stretchers, this modest but attractive side or writing table will impress in the most elegant of period-furnished homes, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract from family & guests alike.

Width of Top 91.5cm x O/All Depth at Centre 49.5cm (36" x 19.5") & Height 78cm (30.75")

A genuine antique piece from early on in the 19thC, so you may expect the mature character & patina that only comes with considerable age but, now professionally & sympathetically restored, it's in very good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
