Early 20th Century Chippendale Style Mahogany Side Chair with Leather Upholstered Drop-In Seat.

A top quality reproduction piece that can be dated with some certainty to the first part of the 20thC and definitely before WWII, in very good condition with a newly re-upholstered leather covered drop-in seat, with a classic Chippendale style moulded, carved and fret-cut splat back, on square legs, the front being moulded to front & sides in the 18thC manner, with a maker's plate for Hampton & Sons Ltd of Pall Mall East, London, this fine side chair will take pride of place in the most elegant of period-furnished reception rooms and offers many years of comfort and style.

A period reproduction from the early 20thC, so expect some wear & tear commensurate with normal use and the mature character that only comes with considerable age but otherwise it's in good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
